Transportation

Getting where you need to go shouldn’t be a barrier to opportunity.

The Transportation Working Group works to reduce transportation barriers and improve accessibility in Carman and the surrounding area. Through community partnerships and practical initiatives, the group explores ways to make travel safer, more affordable and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

The group is also exploring safer cycling routes, regulations for motorized golf carts and wheelchairs, and a proposed Bike Bus program to help students travel to school together.

Reliable transportation helps people stay independent, access essential services and participate in community life. Our Working Group explores local transportation challenges and works toward practical solutions that make getting around safer and more accessible.
