Education & Employment

Opportunity starts with access.

The Education & Employment Working Group helps reduce barriers to education, training and employment for members of our community. By building partnerships with local, provincial and federal organizations, the group connects individuals with resources, services and opportunities to develop skills, access support and move toward their personal and employment goals.

We’re most proud of…

Building strong relationships with service agencies and organizations that help bring more resources and opportunities to our community. Through these connections, we’ve helped improve access to services, training and practical assistance. Whether it’s helping someone obtain identification, complete important paperwork or find the right information, we’re proud of the difference these connections can make in people’s lives.

Sometimes, something as simple as having the right information or knowing where to turn can open the door to new opportunities. By connecting people with resources and support, we help individuals take meaningful steps toward their goals.

Our Working Group welcomes volunteers who want to make a practical difference in their community. With a flexible approach and only a few in-person meetings each year, it’s a rewarding way to help others while connecting with a fun, dedicated team.
