Supporting Emotional Health
Promoting mental wellness, reducing stigma, and increasing awareness of supports and resources available in our community.
Strong communities are built on strong emotional well-being.
The Supporting Emotional Health Working Group promotes emotional wellbeing through community programming, education and access to resources. By collaborating with local organizations, professionals and community members, the group identifies needs, helps address gaps in services and creates opportunities for meaningful conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

We’re most proud of…
Helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging more open, honest conversations in our community. From telephone support during the COVID-19 pandemic to support groups, parenting courses, book studies and community events, our Working Group has helped create opportunities for people to connect, learn and find support. We’re proud to help build a community where emotional wellbeing is recognized as an important part of everyone’s health.
Building Connections, Supporting Wellbeing.
Everyone faces challenges, and having access to information, resources and supportive relationships can make a meaningful difference. By encouraging open conversations and understanding, we can help build a healthier, more connected community.
Our Working Group welcomes volunteers who are passionate about emotional wellbeing and helping others. Together, we can strengthen connections, share resources and create a community where everyone feels supported and valued.
